Fronted by singer-songwriters Tim Stewart and Jaz Slinger, and backed by Ethan Frankel on bass and Christian Fisher on drums, The Redeemed draw on blues-rock roots with a sweet country-folk sensibility that’s both exhilarating and emotionally resonant. Over the past two years, the band have released three singles, each receiving nationwide airplay and charting on AMRAP, cementing their growing presence on the Australian independent music scene.

Awards
In early 2026, The Redeemed travelled to Tamworth for the Tamworth Country Music Festival, where they took home Best Bush Ballad at the Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards for their song Backwards Country Town. The only fan-voted country music awards in Australia, the People’s Choice Awards were announced at a Gala Presentation at Tamworth Town Hall, where the band were also finalists for Best Video and invited to perform.

It’s an exciting start to the year for The Redeemed, and the band are set to keep the momentum going with more gigs and new music planned for 2026.
